Say that 10x… and your mouth will water 😉

To accompany this wonderful weather we are having in San Francisco, I was inspired to make an extraordinary lunch for me and my honey! Check it out:

On the menu: BBQ Pork Ribs with Sweet Potato Fries and Sweet Pepper Peach Spinach Salad

What you need:

  1. baby pork ribs
  2. sweet potatoes or (I used Trader Joes, sweet potato fries)
  3. spinach
  4. baby sweet peppers
  5. white peach
  6. organic ketchup
  7. maple syrup
  8. worcestershire sauce
  9. chili pepper
  10. garlic flakes
  11. rice vinegar or apple cider vineger
  12. sea salt
  13. pepper
  14. your favorite beer

Put it together:

The night before, place pork ribs, cut in three rib pieces, in crockpot with beer enough to cover all the meat and slow cook on low overnight.  I did 12hours.

Next day, 30 minutes before you want to serve, mix sauce of: organic ketchup, maple syrup, worcestershire sauce, chili pepper, garlic flakes. Taste the sauce and make sure it’s to your liking.  I eye-ball everything so play with it!

On baking sheet place ribs and apply sauce.

Cook sweet potato fries in oven, Trader Joes makes yummy ones.  Cook for 15 minutes.  When you flip the fries at 10mins, place the ribs in the oven with the fries to warm and glaze.

While everything is in the oven prep the salad:  add spinach, sliced sweet peppers and peaches, toss with vinegar and add sea salt and pepper for taste.

Serve and ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!

The macronutrient ratios for the Metabolic Typing Types:

Protein Type: 70% proteins & fats (40/30) / 30% carbohydrates

Carbohydrate Type: 60% carbohydrates / 40% proteins & fats (25/15)

Mix-Type: 50% carbohydrates / 50% proteins & fats (30/20)
